I got my shiny The Black Guardian Trilogy DVD set today! Three new, lovingly remastered Fifth Doctor stories for me to enjoy - it doesn't really get much better than that, does it? I'll be watching and reviewing (in the loosest possible sense) one story a day.

As decent as this episode was, it offered nothing new. We've already had two very similar episodes like this and To the Last Man did little to really stand apart from them. I'm now six episodes into the first season of Stargate: Atlantis, and I'm having ridiculous amounts of fun. God, this show is insanely entertaining. It's the TV equivalent of an especially terrific mug of hot chocolate.
